Summer holidays camping

The six-week summer holiday is what this whole guide is for: river swims, pick-your-own punnets, marshmallows on repeat and children who fall asleep before the zip closes. Every one of our sites is open, from the full-facility parks to the walk-in lock meadows.

Two rules of engagement: book the famous small sites months ahead, and go Sunday-to-Friday if you can, when pitches are cheaper and quieter. The RIAT air show week in July books out everything within ten miles of Fairford, plan around it.

52 of our 52 sites are open, showing the 12 closest to SN7

When should we book summer holiday camping in the Cotswolds?

For the small favourite sites (Holycombe, Evelyn's Garden, the Real Campsite at Park Farm, Rushey Lock), book by early spring. The bigger parks (Lincoln Farm Park, Hoburne Cotswold, Diamond Farm) hold availability longer midweek, but school-holiday weekends everywhere go early.
